This privacy policy applies to the "Text Scanner, OCR and Translate" app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by the Service Provider as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed to extract text from images and provide translations. To ensure your privacy, the core processing of your data happens locally on your device. This includes:

• Scanned Images: When you capture a photo or select one from your gallery, the Application creates a private copy in your device's internal storage to ensure it remains accessible for your history.
• OCR & Translated Text: Extracted text and its translations are stored in a local database on your device.
• Mapped Blocks: Data regarding the position of text on your images is stored locally to provide the "Map to Image" overlay feature.

The Application does not upload your photos, extracted OCR text, or translated results to any external servers owned by the Service Provider. Your scanned documents and translations remain private to your device.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically for maintenance and improvement, such as:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address).
• The operating system and device model.
• Usage analytics (e.g., features used, translation languages selected) to help us improve the service.

Permissions Required

To provide its core functionality, the Application requests the following permissions:

• Camera: To allow you to scan physical documents and text in real-time.
• Storage / Media: To allow you to import existing images from your gallery and to save the final "Mapped" images to your device.
• Internet: To download offline translation models (approx. 30MB per language) and to serve advertisements.

Third Party Access

The Application utilizes third-party APIs to process text and show ads. These services may collect information used to identify you according to their own policies:

• Google Play Services
• Google ML Kit (Processes OCR and Translation on-device, but may send diagnostic data to Google).
• AdMob (Advertising)

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available via your mobile device or the Google Play Store.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain the data stored on your device for as long as you use the Application. Since your history and images are stored locally, deleting the Application will permanently delete this data. You can also manually clear your history within the Application's settings.

Children

The Application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ckh.application@gmail.com so we can take necessary actions.

Security

We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Because your data is stored locally, its security also depends on the security settings of your mobile device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this page regularly for any changes. Continued use of the app is deemed approval of all changes.
